Interior glass
List the rooms and windows requested, including doors with glass if relevant. Clear small items from sills and explain furniture limiting access. The cleaner needs a practical route to the pane, not an assumption that every window can be reached from the floor. Mention delicate nearby furnishings and existing damage.
Exterior glass
Show the outside arrangement and explain storeys, slopes or restricted routes. A photograph from a safe position can help describe height and obstacles. Do not climb to inspect or prepare an awkward pane. Access determines whether a particular request is feasible, independently of how simple the mark appears.
Frames and sills
Confirm these separately in the scope. Timber, coated metal and other materials may have different care requirements. Include accumulated residue and damaged seals in the description. Cleaning suitable surfaces is not the same as repairing a frame, replacing sealant or correcting a window that does not operate properly.
Unusual marks
Explain construction residue, stickers, paint splashes or a persistent cloudy appearance. Ordinary window cleaning does not automatically include scraping every deposit. The combination of glass, coating and residue needs assessment. Marks between panes may relate to the glazing unit rather than dirt on a reachable surface.
