Empty rooms and reachable surfaces
Include bedrooms, living areas, hallways and the accessible surfaces named in your checklist. Remove belongings and ordinary moving waste first. A floor hidden beneath boxes or a cupboard still full of food cannot be treated like an empty area. Explain any furniture that will remain and which parts can be reached safely.
Kitchen interiors and fittings
Specify cupboards, drawers and appliances rather than relying on the word kitchen alone. Fridges need appropriate emptying arrangements; oven cavities involve their own materials and residue. Confirm whether oven cleaning is included in the quotation. Mention damaged shelves, loose fittings or operating faults separately from cleaning condition.
Bathrooms at handover
List every bathroom, en-suite and cloakroom, including showers and surrounding accessible surfaces. Show persistent marks and identify delicate finishes. Soap residue and deposits are different from failed sealant, mould caused by an unresolved moisture problem or damaged fittings. Cleaning cannot replace repair work that the property already needs.
Floors, glass and specialist extras
Explain which windows and floor areas are requested and how they can be reached. Vacuuming is different from carpet cleaning, and a sofa treatment is separate from dusting a furnished room. Name those extras against the inventory where relevant, so the appointment and price reflect your actual handover requirements.
